News Khabren Live reported that the Islamabad administration has unveiled a detailed traffic plan to maintain public safety during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest on November 24th.


According to details, the plan includes the closure of multiple entry and exit points in the red zone as it will be sealed on the day of the protest.


The administration said that Murree Road leading to Islamabad has been closed, containers have been placed at Faizabad T-Chowk and 26 Number Chowk. Srinagar Highway has been closed for entry into Islamabad while Sector I-8, IJP Double Road, Margalla Road, and Golra Morr flyover and underpass have also been closed.


Strict security measures have been taken at sensitive locations in Islamabad, and law enforcement agencies are conducting security checks on passengers.


By implementing this comprehensive traffic plan, the Islamabad administration aims to minimize disruptions and ensure public safety during the PTI protest.


Earlier today, the Punjab government imposed Section 144 across the province ahead of the PTI's protest in Islamabad on November 24th.


According to details, the Punjab Home Department has banned public gatherings and rallies for three days.


According to a notification issued here today, Section 144 will remain in force from Saturday, November 23rd to Monday, November 25th.


It may be recalled that the detained PTI founder Imran Khan has called for a nationwide protest on November 24th.


In a separate development, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has put forward 'conditions' for negotiations to withdraw the November 24th protest call.


Sources said that the PTI demanded immediate relief for the party's founder Imran Khan. They further said that "in return for giving relief to their founder, the PTI is ready to end the protest."


The party demanded the government to drop all 'false' cases against Imran Khan and his immediate release. One of the conditions laid down by the PTI reads that "if his release is delayed through legal proceedings, Imran Khan should be transferred to Peshawar jail."


The party also demanded the immediate release of other leaders imprisoned in various jails. Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur said that negotiations on the November 24 protest would begin only after the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.


Internet, Mobile Service


Mobile and internet services are likely to be suspended in various parts of Pakistan, especially Islamabad and Punjab, during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest on November 24th.


Sources said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and some districts of Islamabad could be affected by the suspension.


Sources in the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) claimed that mobile internet services would be suspended from November 22nd, firewalls would be activated to slow down internet speeds and affect social media apps.


Sources further said that authorities could also block internet and mobile services at specific locations depending on the situation.
